Prepare all other aromatics for soup. Clockwise from tumeric in the bowl, coriander seeds (and just above that cumin seeds), white peppercorns, candlenuts (kerimi), shallots, salam leaves, sliced galangal and lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves in center
